Camp Wood Lodging - River Privileges

All three guest cottages, the River House, the Cottage and the Lodge, have river privileges at our private picnic area. The Nueces River is so clear and clean here that you can easily see the rocks on the bottom of the riverbed, even though the water is quite deep. Access to the water is provided by stone steps and a cement landing. Picnic tables are available for your use as our guest. This is the perfect spot for mid-afternoon swims on hot summer days, and just floating along on the beautiful Nueces.You may click on each picture to see enlarged pictures.
